Memorial Scholarship Winners!

Every year, the Clackamas County Peace Officers Association awards memorial college scholarships to those children of our members who continue their education after high school.


Applicants have their applications and essays reviewed by the CCPOA Executive Board. The CCPOA is proud and honored to award three $2,500 scholarships and a handful of other valuable scholarships annually.


The 2023 college scholarship recipients are:


Bill Bowman Memorial Scholarship – A scholarship of $2500.00 to the child of a member in the patrol shop. - Awarded to Madison Nall - Nursing at Boise State University.


Greg Senior Memorial Scholarship - A scholarship of $2500.00 to the child of a member in the corrections shop. - Awarded to Aniela Erbe - Criminal Justice at Western Oregon University.


John Shaver Memorial Scholarship – A scholarship of $2500.00 to the child of a member in the services shop seeking a career in public service. - Awarded to Maisyn Douglas - Philosophy/Law track at University of Memphis.


Damon Coates Memorial Scholarships – Scholarships awarded by the CCPOA E-Board not to exceed $1,000. - Awarded to Jonathon Juker - Fire Suppression at Chemeketa Community College.

Abigail Bigler - Nursing at Linfield University

Alina Gaytan - Nursing at Clackamas Community College

Erin Taylor - Pre-med at Oregon State University

Hunter McClaughry - Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University
