Your local Clackamas County law enforcement officers have interviewed candidates with regard to public safety and law enforcement issues and recommend the following candidates in the May 17 election:

FOR OREGON STATE REPRESENTATIVE, DISTRICT 39 (Republican Primary)

Kori Haynes
Kori Haynes is running for the Republican nomination for House District 39, in and around Happy Valley, Linwood, and Clackamas Heights. She has been an active volunteer in local schools and other organizations.  She has made "back the blue" one of her top campaign priorities.

Adam Baker
Voters in House District 40 (Oregon City and Gladstone area) should cast their ballot for Adam Baker, a veteran law enforcement officer who will rise above partisan politics to protect our community.

Paul Savas
Commissioner Savas is a long-time public servant and extremely adept budgeter.  As an ally to law enforcement, he recently voted to end the County’s relationship with “defund police” advocates.

Ben West
